Professional Application Workflow
Recommended process logic
- Clean the substrate — Remove dirt, grease and surface contamination with the approved cleaning process.
- Strip and prepare — Remove old coating or surface film where required, then allow the surface to dry. Use a suitable sanding process when specified by the repair system.
- Select the primer — Use F-10 primer for PP/PE. Use POM-1 primer for PA6/POM. Confirm adhesion on the actual substrate before production.
- Prepare the coating — Stir HW-3301 soft-feel clear coat thoroughly before mixing.
- Mix the 2K system — Mix clear coat : 3390 hardener : FG-C2 thinner = 10 : 1 : 5 ± 2 as the reference starting ratio. The final ratio and usable working period should be confirmed during process validation.
- Filter and spray — Filter the mixed coating when required and apply with the selected spray equipment using a uniform, controlled process.
- Cure and condition — Use the validated drying and curing conditions for the actual substrate, coating thickness and workshop equipment. Do not use an unverified fixed drying time for HW-3301.
- Validate the finish — Check soft-feel uniformity, appearance, adhesion, abrasion, scratch resistance, wiping resistance and chemical resistance before mass production.

Handling and storage
HW-3301 is a solvent-based 2K polyurethane coating. Keep all components tightly closed, store at a constant 5–38 °C, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from heat sources and open flames. Provide adequate ventilation during application and avoid skin and eye contact. The hardener may introduce additional occupational-safety and transport requirements. Refer to the final MSDS for personal protection, storage, first-aid and transport information.
